About Bobbi Jo

 I am 40 years old, born in Texas, grew up in Ohio and now living in South of Ohio for 20 years. I graduated in '84 at Ellet High school then I was seeking for a job. No jobs as it was a small community. Then I went to South of Ohio for a job placement in January, 1985. I graduated on September, '85. I attended to training school- Data Entry Operator for a year then I graduated in 1987. I found a job at Goodwill Rehab. and worked for three years. I met many deaf and hard of hearing people here. We have now about 60 thousands deaf people in our community. I have two sisters, Shawna and Erica and one brother, Donny. I am the oldest in the family. My parents are Don and Margie. I'm now full time hearing impaired housewife with three beautiful children. I'm still looking for a part time job. Being a mom is the hardest thing I've had to do. I love them a lot! They're my 1st important in my life. I do my errands, appointments and events. I've been married to Brian for almost 15 years. I used to play ballet, volleyball and softball. I like to play bowling and mini golf for fun.  

About Brian David

Brian is almost 43 years old, born in Canton and raised in south of Ohio. He's a hearing impaired husband/father. He moved to South of Ohio when he was around 15. He graduated in '81 at MSSD in Washington D.C. He played football all school years. He went through 3 colleges. He used to work at The Limited in Ohio for almost ten years. He's now working for mechanic at Goodyear Gemini Automotive Center for part time in five years. And he's also work at Target Corporation for 12 hours a day on the weekends. He have two sisters, Cathy, Brenda and one brother Jimmy. He's the younger in the family. His parents are Jim and Sonja. He do his errands, appointments & events. He's running in the family. His obsessed to college- OSU football. He played bowling for the fall/winter seasons and he's also play golf for the spring/summer seasons. He used to play alot of sports- softball, volleyball, snow and water ski and basketball.

How we met

In April of 1985, we met at deaf club. He loved my eyes and I loved his laughs. We became good friends and got to known each other for a year then he asked me to go out with him which it was a surprised so we dated for a month in 1986. We went to movies, out to eat, socialize and activties. We were dating for a while.

When we got engaged

How it happened 

We were best friends for five years till we got into serious relationships in the first week of June,1990. Later, he called me & asked me to come over to his home after work. Then I came to his house & we chat for a while. We were sitting on the couch & he had something to tell me. He made me a lot of laughs. I had no idea what's going on. He got up and bend on one knee asking me to marry him I was speechless...then I said YES! I had tears I was so thrilled.

When we got married

We were married in October 13th, 1990. We now have three beautiful girls. They're oldest, younger and youngest. We've been married for almost 15 years. We've work the hard way we learned a lot of things together. We knew each other for 20 years.
